RCS Inc. is a Manufacturer Representative Firm that services the New England military and commercial markets. We concentrate on thoroughly understanding our customers' business by meeting in their facilities on a weekly basis.  We are currently approaching $1B in new business for our principals since 1994.

RCS works closely with all levels of management within our customer base so we can provide the best guidance toward initiating and maintaining long term relationships between all parties.  Our team has an average tenure of 12 years, most of us have been onboard for 25+ years.

Chris Connors Founder RCS Sales

Founder

Chris founded R. Connors Sales (RCS) in 1994 with a simple mission; provide trusted representation and innovative solutions to defense and technology partners across New England.  Over the years, RCS has grown into a respected firm known for its integrity, strategic insight, and long-standing industry relationships.  Throughout his career, Chris has supported the successful market entry and growth of several defense and security technology companies.  He played a key role in launching Cobham into the U.S. market, contributing to a significant share of their early revenue. As an early investor and board member of Aethercomm, he helped guide the company through years of growth, culminating in its acquisition by Veritas Capital in 2023.  Chris also led the introduction of BBN Technologies Boomerang Sniper Detection System to the DoD, generating over $250 million in new business prior to BBN’s acquisition by Raytheon. He later founded Shooter Detection Systems, which was acquired by Alarm.com in 2020, and served as an early investor and board member of Fusus through its acquisition by Axon in 2024.  Today, Chris continues to serve on the boards of multiple DoD prime contractors and remains deeply committed to supporting technologies that enhance safety and security.  His work, whether as an advisor, investor, or founder, is guided by one principle, helping protect lives by enabling faster, smarter responses to emerging threats.

Dan Sherman Managing Partner & President RCS Sales

Managing Partner & President

Dan is the Managing Partner and President of RCS, a respected manufacturer’s representative firm serving clients from startups to Fortune 100 companies.  With over 15 years of leadership at RCS and a background in complex high-tech sales, Dan brings strategic insight and deep industry knowledge to every engagement.  He has helped drive growth across the Mil-Aero, medical, and commercial sectors, representing advanced technologies including RF components, power systems, and subsystems.  Dan’s expertise extends beyond representation; he is also a trusted consultant for organizations ranging from startups to multibillion-dollar defense contractors.  His consulting work spans market entry strategies, rebranding efforts, business development, and bridging critical partnerships in highly competitive environments.  A proven closer and strategic thinker, Dan works seamlessly from C-suite vision to tactical execution.  Before RCS, Dan managed nearly 600 classified contracts while at BAE Systems, gaining valuable experience in government procurement and team leadership. He holds a B.A. from Saint Anselm College and an MBA from Rivier University, where he focused on Organizational Leadership and Global Business.  Dan’s approach is grounded in relationship-building, long term growth, and navigating the complex landscape competitive Mil/Aero sales.
